Why can’t this be the next Android?

The blogging world and mobile websites have been writing up like crazy about HTC’s Snap (in the U.S. aka. S522). Based on what I read and its features, this looks like a phone I would look forward to owning, BUT with an Android OS. I love the usability and functionality of the BlackBerry (Bold and Javelin), but would love to have the Android OS running on it.

“Snap will run Windows Mobile 6.1 and comes with integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, 256MB ROM/192MB RAM, a microSD/SDHC expansion slot, and 2-megapixel camera/camcorder. The smartphone measures 4.5 inches tall by 2.4 inches wide by 0.4 inch deep and has a 2.4-inch QVGA nontouch display.” – CNET Reviews

Common HTC! Bring on the Android to Snap.

In my humble opinion, I think should this happens many users who are eager to own an Android phone, but not liking the G1 ‘s hardware, would totally buy this and be cooler than BlackBerry owners :p
